Frequently Asked Questions

Not at all — we welcome players of all skill levels. Our weekly board game nights include dedicated sessions for beginners where experienced members guide new players through game mechanics. Whether you’re picking up your first Euro-style board game or you’ve been playing for years, you’ll find your place here.

We run structured poker tournaments on the first Saturday of each month with buy-ins starting at 20. Each tournament includes 4-5 hours of organised play with fair dealing standards and house rules designed to develop your tournament skills. Between tournaments, we also host casual cash games for recreational players.

Our community is designed for mature players aged 25 and above. This focus allows us to create a more relaxed, adult-oriented atmosphere where everyone can enjoy strategy games, bridge, and poker at their own pace without younger players.

Yes, we run beginner bridge coaching sessions twice a month where our experienced players teach the fundamentals of bidding, card play, and partnership communication. Once you’ve grasped the basics, you can join our duplicate bridge events where you’ll play in a more competitive setting against other partnerships.

We’re based in Cork with weekly gatherings at our dedicated gaming space. We also organise monthly meetups in surrounding regions across Ireland to make it easier for players outside Cork to join us. Check our events calendar or contact us for the closest location to you.
